Rest Lab Seven

Rest Lab Seven is a zine that debuted at the 2025 National Art Education Association Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. It is a device you can carry, slip into your pocket, copy and share, and use to ground yourself in whatever moment you choose. This modular Rest Lab unfolds and creates space to remind you to notice and savor.

Since the first Rest Lab appeared in an empty museum gallery in 2022, we have designed each intervention by responding to our current needs and the space we are occupying. Rest Lab takes the shape of its container; this time, our container of rest is flexible and in motion. Rest Lab Seven opens and closes with you, wherever you take it.
