Rest Lab Eight

Rest Lab Eight is an exhibition at Krannert Art Museum titled, "Rest Lab 8: Greenspace." In this eighth iteration of Rest Lab, visitors are invited to enter a playful, restorative greenspace inside the museum. Soft artificial turf covers the gallery floor, inviting visitors to slow down and stretch out. By creating a visual and tactile interruption in typical museum spaces, Rest Lab 8: Greenspace, provides a calm, grounding atmosphere for people to gather.

Rest Lab 8: Greenspace introduces a new program titled "Pause + Play." Kids (ages 4–8) participate in playful, drop-off art activities in Rest Lab led by museum educators, while their caregivers experience a guided tour exploring the museum's galleries and artworks on view. The program balances restorative pause with playful engagement, offering parallel experiences that nurture both adults and children.
